Ibberson was contracted for the design and build of the high-speed rail unloading facility.
The facility provides grain and other bulk commodities for a feed mill annex and commodity transfer facility located at the site.
Scope of work included the design to unload 100-car-unit grain trains in approximately 12 hours. The facility includes two in-line rail receiving systems. Each system has an independent rail scale, receiving conveyor, transfer conveyor and bucket elevator, all designed to operate at a combined capacity of 1,580 tons per hour of whole grain.
The unloading system is also designed to unload soymeal and other feed ingredients.
