T.E. Ibberson Company (Ibberson), was awarded the contract to provide design, engineering, construction and construction management for this turnkey grain terminal.
The facility includes eight 36-foot-diameter by 130-foot-high silos. An office building combines grain receiving, grain sampling and general offices.
The facility processes wheat barley, oats and canola and has a storage capacity of 25,300 metric tons. The grain receiving capacity of the building is at 12,500 bushels per hour while rail and truck load out is at 27,500 bushels per hour.
Included in this facility are two 120-foot-long truck scales, a 2,400-BPH grain dryer and a hydraulic cable-type rail car progressioner. Three rail load out tracks will spot a full unit train of 103 cars.
The site features PLC control with MMI interface for the entire facility and a huge triple-inlet, 24-duct distributor on its roof top.
