Ibberson was responsible for the civil and structural design of this new flour mill, which included ancillary storage annex, warehouse, piling for large storage bins, and piling for the entire project.
Ibberson worked closely with Buhler, which designed the mill and the equipment for this state-of-the-art facility.
The owner had been impressed with a Minneapolis hotel he had visited and wanted the Nutrimix flour mill to replicate the design of that building. Ibberson engineers incorporated many of the hotel’s design elements and created a glass-enclosed flour mill unlike any other in the world.
The site also includes a 67-foot-tall slipform tower that includes storage bins for wheat and flour. Ibberson representatives were sent to the site to assist in the construction of this structure.
