Ibberson provided civil and structural work for the process, screener building, bulk loadout, and dryer buildings, as well as installing mechanical equipment for this sugar refinery.
Over the course of the project, Ibberson installed approximately 2,200 tons of structural steel, 12,000 cubic yards of concrete, and 132 pieces of equipment to complete our scope of this project.
The steel process building is four stories and measures 192’ x 119’ x 110’ high. The screener building and dryer buildings are connected to the process building. The screener building is 50’ x 40’ x 72’ high and the dryer building is 98’ x 119’ x 179’ high. In addition to the buildings, we installed a pipe bridge system, in which the longest section stretched 150’ feet over a two-lane railroad track.
The bulk loadout building is 111’ x 28’ x 164’ high and includes a 111’ x 50’ high area above the railroad tracks for unloading railcars. It also includes six 60’- high loadout silos placed 95’ on top of the building.
In addition to the buildings, Ibberson performed the required dirt work for the foundations, the cooling tower concrete, the evaporator building concrete and the pipe bridge foundations.
