Cargill Feed (Jiaxing) Co. Ltd.
Ibberson, in a joint venture The Zhong Hong Group, were awarded the contract for the first slipform concrete feed manufacturing facility in China. The facility was built for Cargill Animal Nutrition Division, Minneapolis, USA.

Concrete slipforming produces a single, seamless, monolithic structure by the continuous pumping of concrete into setting forms that are gradually raised to shape the facility. This slip was completed in 12 days, rising to a height of 52.3 meters above ground level.
The Jiaxing mill has three hammer mills, one five-ton double-ribbon mixer, and one 400-horsepower pellet press, with space for a second pelleting line in the future.
Finished feed is transferred to 14 bagging bins above two bagging lines. The plant also has a single-screw extruder for making fish feeds. There are 9,000 tons of flat storage on the mill site, as well as 16,000 tons of storage in steel grain bins.
Designed for flexibility in production, the feed mill will at first produce primarily bagged broiler chicken and pig feeds for a dealer network supplying farmers in Zhenjiang Province. Later, it will produce a wide variety of animal feeds.
