Ibberson and Sauer, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, (Sauer/Ibberson JV) performed the construction work for two 82-foot-diameter fly ash and one 64-foot-diameter bed ash silos at Reliant Energy’s power plant in New Florence, Pennsylvania.
Ash Grove Chanute Clinker, Blending and Coal Silos
Chanute, Kan.
Ibberson was contracted to provide design and construction of three slipform structures at the Ash Grove Cement Plant in Chanute, Kansas. The project consisted of foundations, slipform walls, hopper bottoms and roofs.
Concrete Chimney Shell Erection
San Antonio, Texas
As part of the J.K. Spruce II Power Plant expansion at Calaveras Lake near San Antonio, Texas, Ibberson installed a 600-foot-tall tapered chimney stack.
Rock Salt Crushing and Screening Plant
Lansing, N.Y.
Ibberson was awarded the responsibility of fabrication and erection of the Cargill rock salt crushing and screening plant. The building of the plant took place 2,300 feet underground in a warm, dark, dry hole carved out of salt deposits in the earth.
Flyash Silos
Roxboro, N.C.
Ibberson was responsible for the design and construction of the Carolina Power and Light flyash silos located in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Coal Storage Silos
Scofield, Utah
Coastal States Energy Company chose Ibberson to design and construct coal storage silos for their coal plant in Scofield, Utah.
Receiving, Storage and Loadout Terminal
Newark, N.J.
Ibberson was awarded the contract to design and build the turnkey cement terminal. The facility included cement receiving, storage and a loadout terminal.
Preheat Tower, Blending Silos, Clinker Silos, Fly Ash Silos
Harleyville, S.C.
A joint venture between Ibberson and TIC-The Industrial Company Wyoming, Inc. completed concrete slipform work as part of the Giant Cement Company’s 3,000-TPD plant expansion at its plant in Harleyville, South Carolina.
Preheat Tower and Raw Meal Silo
Pueblo, Colo.
Ibberson was awarded the contract to construct slipformed structures for GCC Rio Grande, Inc.’s, new 2,900-STPD grassroots cement plant.
Cement, Coal, Homogenizing and Clinker Silos and Stack
New Braunfels, Texas
General Portland Cement Company contracted lbberson to design and construct five slipform structures on this project. The project consisted of drilled caissons, foundations, scales, floors, hopper bottoms, catwalks and platforms.
