Ibberson was awarded the contract to perform engineering, procurement and construction of the chimney, waste ash silo and lime silo structures.
The chimney was slipformed with a 51’-2” diameter and is approximately 490 feet tall. The scope of work for the chimney included the design and construction of the shell, two 18’-0”-diameter steel liners, roof, and intermediate platforms.
The waste ash silo was slipformed with a 46’-0” diameter and is approximately 185 feet tall. The scope for the waste ash silo included the design and construction of the structure, roof, bin bottom floor and unloader platform.
The lime silo was slipformed with a 41’-8” diameter and is approximately 110 feet tall. The scope for the lime silo included the design, procurement and construction of the structure, roof, steel hopper and concrete ring beam.
